What is Dermacia?
Called a "breathable foundation", Dermacia is supposed to cover acne while also preventing clogging of pores. They claim that if you have used other heavy products, Dermacia is the alternative solution. It is not based on oil, creams, or mineral based ingredients, and there are no alcohol based preservatives, meaning it won't cause skin irritation or future breakouts.
What Ingredients are in Dermacia?
However, we have seen other, more popular foundations that are based around the ever popular salicylic acid. Dermacia does not really reveal their ingredients list. It has been reported to become cakey and dry out quickly after application, which would suggest that it would probably clog pores instead of allowing them to experience breathable benefits. Frankly, you could easily buy a product that actually causes dead skin cells to shed themselves without damaging the skin for an extremely cheap price such as about $5-$10.
What Else Should I Know about Dermacia?
Realistically, you should check out or top acne treatments for the best acne fighting results. Dermacia has no acne fighting ingredients, and reports claim that it works exactly outside what it claims. We have seen prices as low as about $15 and as high as about $50 for one container of this foundation, and either way, it wouldn't be worth the price, and you could easily get a better product for a cheaper price.
