What is Panoxyl?

Panoxyl uses the maximum 10% concentration of benzyl peroxide to attack certain types of acne. It uses a soap free cleanser, and it is meant to treat even severe cases of acne, or maybe exclusively treat severe cases of acne. They claim it will treat your current acne while simultaneously preventing new blemishes from forming. It is easy to use after washing your face on a regular basis.

What Ingredients are in Panoxyl?

Even without soaps, with the high concentration or really any concentration of benzyl peroxide, Panoxyl will dry out and irritate your skin, probably causing increased sun sensitivity among other things. Benzyl peroxide can reduce the oils around the skin, but it irritates the skin with just 5% in most people. It uses an acne fighting bar, so it can be used over the whole body, but there are common side effects, and really if you've tried any other benzyl peroxide, you've essentially tried Panoxyl. It won't help many people, and it will hurt the skin. The other ingredients found in Panoxyl are by no means acne fighters, nor are they anti inflammatories, moisturizers, soothers, or anything else that would combat the side effects of benzyl peroxide.

What Else Should I Know about Panoxyl?

Panoxyl really has only one active ingredient, which can be found in various other treatments. It works in concentrations of 5%. The 10% that Panoxyl uses is just overkill and will causes more unnecessary side effects and severity of those side effects. Their formula frankly is really not meant to work, but your skin will pay a real price. So we would not recommend it.
